Panda Birthday Card with Scrapbook.com

Thursday, May 9, 2024

I have had the March SheetLoad of Cards sketch sitting on my desk... just waiting to be used... I finally dusted it off today and made a card using Scrapbook.com Exclusives. I followed the sketch and trimmed my patterned paper from the Birthday A2 Paper Pad. After I adhered the two patterns to my card base, I splattered some black ink so that way it would tie in a little more black with my Panda Bear.

The Panda Bear Stamp was stamped in black ink and I colored him in using Glitter Brush Markers. I popped up the rectangle piece to my card base with foam adhesive (1mm thick) and then my Banda was popped up again with more foam adhesive (1mm thick). I die cut my sentiment and used a Paper Pouncer to add some blue to the bottom letters of "Happy" and assembled the sentiment pieces together.

Bringing in more splatter, this time in white, I added the lustre marker to the sentiment and set aside to dry. When it was dry, I popped it up on to the card with the same foam adhesive as my Panda Bear. This was a quick and simple card, but I think it turned out pretty darn cute.
