Are you loving the new Heffy Doodle release? The new stencil is perfect for this month's Heffy Doodler Challenge of Flower Power! I used the Flower Power stencil to create a floral background and paired it with the Leafy Laurel Circle Dies. Plus, a good pun. 😉

Mother's Day Platform Pop-Up Card with Lawn Fawn

Tuesday, April 26, 2022

It's hard to believe that April is coming to an end this week! I'm working on making a few Mother's Day cards for the moms in my life and I used a couple challenges to inspire this platform pop-up card. The current Lawn Fawnatics challenge was to create a scene and of course my weekly Craft Roulette parameters!

The parameters this week are a calendar card (I went with a holiday on the calendar of Mother's Day); colors are yellow + 2 (green, pink); bees; and plain circles (they're all over my card base because of the stencil). Do you think I met the requirements this week?

Lucky Duck Mother's Day Display Card with Time for Tea Designs

Saturday, April 23, 2022

It's hard to believe that Easter is over and we're flying through Spring this year! Which means it's time to start thinking of Mother's Day Cards. (If that's a tough subject for you, you can skip this post/video. I totally get having a hard time around these types of holidays, so please do what's best for you. ♥)

This month for my Time for Tea Design's project, I wanted to use the awesome Die-namics Display Card die set to create a cute scene with my Lucky Ducks! I have my video down below for my channel where I go through adding ink to create dimension on die cuts and then my process for ading in the stamped images and cloud die cuts.

Can you spot the dragonfly and bee on the card? Does it look like they're flying? See how I made the card below!

Be a Dragon with Ink Road Stamps

Friday, April 22, 2022

I am back today with my latest Ink Road Stamps project! These images are really Cute Dragons and I just loved the sentiment I chose for the card from this set. I wanted to create a background using the rainbows from the Rainbow Builder Vol 2 set, but decided to do clouds in different shades of blue. I'm glad I went in that direction - I think it looks so great!

If you were a dragon, what color would you be? Let me know in the comments and make sure to go watch my Reels over on Instagram or TikTok!

Don't Grow Up Birthday Card with Kindred Stamps

Thursday, April 21, 2022

Are you a collector of stamp sets? I am... I just love all of the fandom stamp sets that Kindred Stamps make, but I definitely collect more than use... But thanks to the latest Craft Roulette Parameters, I brainstormed this cutie card.

The card has a "drop down" of pixie dust from my little fairy on the card - plus there are also waterfalls that are dropping down into the water (is it water if it's floating in space?) around the island. We have spring colors of yellow, green, blue and pops of rainbow! There are clouds over the island with a rainbow and finally the background is stamped with white and sparkly pixie dust.

Do you think I interpreted the parameters correctly? Let me know in the comments!

Lucille Bluth Banana Sparkle Blends Shaker Card with Ink Road Stamps

Saturday, April 16, 2022

Today is my dad's birthday - he would have been 61 today and I thought I would make a silly card to remember him. When Arrested Development was on, we would joke about how much he was like Gob... A magician who had a thing for Segways! hehe!

Although Gob Bluth would have been a good fit for this card, I just have a Lucille Bluth stamp set from Ink Road Stamps so I grabbed that with one of my favorite snarky quotes from her. I knew I had to use my Go Bananas Sparkle Blends because, well... bananas.

You can see the process down below - I hope it brings you a smile like it does me! Happy birthday, Dad! I sure miss you and love you so much.

Friday, April 15, 2022

Okay, one more Easter card before the holiday this weekend! I created a clean and simple rainbow of Easter eggs for today's card using Distress Oxide colors and some little drops of Pops of Color. You can see how the card comes together down below! I am also sharing the new adhesives in my video - I love the different types of roller adhesives and how they can be used when crafting.

Are you ready for Easter? I have been so busy with visiting family and my sister's upcoming Bridal Shower, I didn't even send out my Easter cards in time... Guess I'm all ready to go for next year!

Color Blocked Background with Spellbinders

Thursday, April 14, 2022

I was really excited when I got this really cool A2 die from Spellbinders to use called the "Color Block Southwest Etched Dies". I knew I wanted to incorporate some hot foil from Spellbinders, too.

I used different shades of blues and teal to create my background then added a rainbow using the Rainbow Foil! I did my best to line up all the foil plates so they would be the same color across the card - I wanted the red on the left to fade into purple on the right.

You can see all of my steps to create this card in my latest Instagram Swipetorial down below!

Team Purple Prediction Halloween Birthday Card with Lawn Fawn

Wednesday, April 13, 2022

So I know it's not the last day of the month, but the only lace or doily item I could find was my Spider Web Doilies that I've been hoarding! This last weekend's Craft Roulette parameters were fun and I enjoyed making this quick and simple card. The four parameters were: picture frame card; our #team color (mine is purple over orange); an element of communication; and lace or a doily.

I used the picture frame die in purple cardstock and my communication is my glow in the dark sentiment from the crystal ball! Do you think I hit all the requirements? What ideas did you have for this week's parameters?

Relaxing Birthday Mini Slimline Card with Lawn Fawn

Sunday, April 10, 2022

I really like this month's birthday card batch! I used Crafty Al's latest Show Us You Sheet Load card sketch and used the latest Lawn Fawnatics color challenge to inspire my mini slimline birthday cards. As always, I have been using up paper from my stash, so it is a retired background... But I think the overall layout with my stamped images from On the Beach is really cute and can be duplicated.

Do you like making batches of cards? I am really building up a good stash of cards and It's going to be great for selling or gifts at the end of the year!

Coloring Guide: Manatees from Manatee-rific from Lawn Fawn

Friday, April 8, 2022

I wasn't sure what I wanted to color this month, but I knew I wanted to do a smaller set. So I dug through my stamps and saw my Manatee-rific set from Lawn Fawn! With Summer not too far away, I thought it would be fun to do show my coloring for these cutie sea cows. Plus, the additional stamps are so cute and small, it would be a great way to do some two shades in my favorite pastel/neon colors.

My video below is my monthly color and chat, however not much chatting happened this month! I've been so busy with preparing for a new release on one of my Design Teams and my sister's shower is next weekend... Next month will probably be chattier!

Make sure to save the guides above, or you can save my post over on Instagram to find it later.
