It's a new month and it's time for new Whimsy Stamps!
There are some fun new UFO, alien and space related products - I'm sharing how you can make quick space cards using the new slimline paper pack and UFO dies. Especially when you make silly sentiments using alphabet dies and stamps.
I hope you enjoy this quick video and you can check out all the new products here!
Do you send emails with nice words, but really you are super frustrated and you really just want to tell the person to just do their job? No, just me? 😅
I'm absolutely in love with Ink Road Stamps and their office stamps - just like this "Just checking in" sentiment and the definition. There are just so many good ones, you have to check them out!
My card is pretty simple, just stamped, colored and layered on the images with wet glue and foam adhesive. The wallpaper and floor were free Lawn Fawn paper samples from purchases. I definitely want to make more to create a notecard set for co-workers or friends who have the same struggles as I do.
It's just a beautiful, vibrant blue and I had a good time making this shaker card using this new ink as my background color. I wanted to tie in some other blue things, so I made sure to use splatter, cardstock and coloring a blue flower to bring it all together.
Plus, we need some fun star shaker bits to top it off. You can watch my video down below to learn how I made it.
These two elephants are just too cute and perfect with the new word dies from Whimsy Stamps. "You are" and "loved" are two different die sets but work perfectly together as they are the same font and style. I just love the flourishes on the first and last letters.
Before gluing the pink to the black die cuts, I embossed them with the Daisies Slimline Embossing Folder to give them texture! It's a pretty basic layout, but adding these details really steps up the card, don't you think?
I love scene building on cards, if you haven't figured that out yet.
The stamp set called Gnome Make a Scene Forest is a perfect stamp set to create your own forest scene. It has it all! Background hills, trees, a sweet gnome, cute critters, mushrooms and more. I love that I could build the scene in the picture above with just one stamp set.
Do you have a go to stamp set that can "do it all" to build a scene? I'd love to know!
Hiii! So, I'm on vacation and while I did a bunch of projects to make sure I get some pretty things posted while I'm on vacation, I haven't actually posted them. 😐
Here is a tropical card I shared on YouTube last week with a background I just love! It's kind of like, reverse stamping? I added Distress Oxide ink to the paper, sprayed water on the stamp and then stamped onto the paper. The water activates the ink and creates a pattern!
I hope you'll watch my video below and check it out yourself.
We're all using the Slimline Chicken Coop die set to share with you inspiration on how to use the amazing farm life products by Whimsy Stamps. I went with a tired chicken and a shaker card. 😉 I can't wait to hop along and see other amazing ideas.
GUYS. I'm on Scrapbook.com's YouTube Channel again and it's just so unreal to me!
I'm sharing how I made these star filled and shiny cards using non-traditional colors and fun supplies. I used the Pops of Colors and a stencil to add some dimension to the cards. The boho colors on these cards just make me so happy!
I hope you'll watch the video and leave me some love so they'll have me back. AGAIN!
Mix matching fonts on cards are some of my favorite sentiments.
I like the look of a bold and cartoon font, or a classic with a cursive font. There are some really great stamps out there with that style of mix matched fonts. BUT, you can create your own using different types of alphabet dies! My video below shares how I used two of my Whimsy Stamps alphabet die sets to create my own mix matched sentiment.
I like puns on cards. Especially when there's a shrimp on the card.
Today is a new Whimsy Stamps release and there are some cute new products! I used two new products - the Revealers 1 Die Set and Under the Sea clear stamp set. The set has super cute sea creatures - but those little shrimps are probably my favorite of all them.
ALSO, it's the end the week so it's time for a new interactive card tutorial on YouTube! Check it out and let me know what your favorite new product is in the comments.
I am LOVING the new Lawn Fawn release and all of the tropical fun with the dies, stencil and stamps. I'm all about layers and I just love how the new A2 plate die can be rotated to create more layers as it's not a mirrored design.
My other favorite part of this card are the leaves I tucked around the "congrats" scripty die. I just think it really makes the cards come together. There are lots of different greens on this card, but they all blend so well together.
You can check out more pictures over on my Instagram and I hope you'll watch my fun, stop-motion video down below.
Long weekends tend to throw me off and I kind of forgot that my video went live yesterday so you might have already seen this card over on my YouTube channel or even Whimsy Stamps YouTube channel. If not, then you can watch it down below! 😉😉
I created this magical butterfly card using some of the recently released Whimsy Stamps products. The Elegant Butterfly is a beautiful, detailed rubber stamp and has it's own outline die you can purchase to cut it out and not lose any detail. I used the Bendy Borders stamp set to create my own background as I just love that twinkly border stamp.
Have you seen the new Bendy Borders stamp set? Which border is your favorite?
I've been watching Call Me {Craft} Al's channel for a few months now and each month she releases a new SheetLoad layout where she gives dimensions and layouts for cards. I finally jumped in and created some cards using the latest layout for inspiration. I did a couple things different from the original layout, but it love how these cute, mini slimline notecards turned out!
Watch how they come together and learn more about the SheetLoads by watching my video down below.
ONE: I hit 1000 subscribers on YouTube and I'm just blown away. I am excited for this next step and building my community on YouTube. I'm also starting to upload some of my favorite stop-motion reels from my Instagram as Shorts.
TWO: I'm VERY close to hitting 1500 followers on Instagram but my seagull card literally flew off the charts. In less than 24 hours it became my most liked card. CRAZY.
Okay, back to this adorable pop-up card. I'm using Heffy Doodle stamps again and created this ocean scene with these adorable sea otters. I think my favorite part of the card was how I used my white Pops of Color to create the sea break and it just really elevates the card, don't you think?
This is probably the last of my ocean card kick that I've been on some time... I wonder where I'll go next?
