Get ready to elevate your card making with the amazing new release from Simon Hurley and Ranger Ink! The "Stellar" ink pads and oh-so-smooth blending brushes are an absolute game-changer, and I couldn't wait to create a cheerful card using these fantastic new tools. For this design, I started by bringing some sunny vibes to an A2 panel of Simon Hurley's Stark White Cardstock. Using the Sunrays layering stencils, I blended the rays with the vibrant "Shooting Star" and the delightful "Guppy" inks, creating a soft yet bright background. The new blending brushes made achieving a seamless blend an absolute breeze – you'll wonder how you ever lived without them!

Next, I brought in the adorable "Going Places" stamp set! I stamped the large hot air balloon and the sweet little bear onto more Stark White cardstock using Jet Black Archival Ink. Then, the coordinating "Going Places" stencil and mask set made adding color a joy. I blended the balloon with the lovely "High Tide" and "Clear Skies" inks, and using a tiny blending tool, I added a touch of "Weeping Willow" to the basket. For a little extra charm, I used a watercolor brush and "Weeping Willow" ink to color in the little bear before fussy cutting both images and nestling the bear into the balloon basket with a touch of glue.
To add some playful texture to the background, I watered down some "Guppy" re-inker and splattered it across the panel. After stamping the sentiment "flying by to say," in "Black Widow" ink, I popped up the finished hot air balloon scene with foam adhesive onto the background. Finally, I stamped "Happy Birthday" inside an A2 card base and adhered my delightful creation to the front. Trust me, these new Simon Hurley and Ranger Ink products are going to spark so much joy in your crafting!
