Sometimes all you need is a starry sky and a cozy campsite! For this handmade card, I paired Lawn Fawn dies with richly textured and colorful cardstock from Cardstock Warehouse to create a layered desert night scene. The mix of die cutting and cardstock choices brought so much personality and dimension to this outdoor-inspired design.

To start, I die cut all my scene pieces using Lawn Fawn's Build-A-Campsite and Desert Canyon Backdrop Lawn Cuts, cutting each element from various shades of Cardstock Warehouse cardstock. I created a night sky by trimming a piece of dark blue cardstock and splattering it with white paint for stars. Once dry, I mounted the sky to an A2 card base, layered on the desert backdrop, and added rocks, cactus, and the campsite sign. I also cut a second desert backdrop from green cardstock and trimmed it into a frame to give the scene a polished border. The tent was assembled and adhered with foam tape for dimension, and I finished it all off with Snowflake Glitter and Silver Pops of Color on the stars and lantern for extra sparkle. Whether you're a camper or just love scene cards, this one is full of charm—thanks to high-quality cardstock that makes every detail pop!
