For this card I started by trimming a piece of lilac cardstock down to 4x5-1/4" and ink blending through the Halloween Silhouettes background stencil from Pretty Pink Posh, going from Saltwater Taffy at the top through Victorian Velvet and down to Wilted Violet at the bottom for a beautiful pink to purple gradient. Before removing the stencil I sprayed on some Hickory Smoke Distress Spritz so the silver shimmer would settle right into all the little Halloween images, then removed the stencil, patted it dry, and darkened all four edges of the panel with Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending brush. I glued that finished panel centered onto a landscape A2 black cardstock piece cut to 4-1/4x5-1/2", then adhered everything to a landscape A2 card base the same size scored and folded.

For the focal elements I die cut the word "Boo" from the Boo Word Shaker dies twice, once from black sparkle cardstock from the Autumn Sparkle Cardstock Pack and once from white cardstock, then glued them together slightly offset so the white peeked out to the bottom right like a drop shadow. I stamped two of the plain ghosts from the Mini Ghost stamp set in Nocturne VersaFine Clair ink, gave them both dark pink alcohol marker cheeks to match the background, and cut them out with the coordinating dies before tucking one ghost between the two layers of the Boo sentiment so it looked like it was popping out between the letters overlapping with the first O. I added foam adhesive behind the whole word and ghost arrangement and centered it on the card, then placed the second ghost curving along the bottom left of the last O, and finished everything off by gluing three purple circles and three black stars from the Candy Corn Carnival Clay Confetti Mix from Pretty Pink Posh around the design for the perfect spooky finishing touch!
