Cozy Wreath for SBC Fest at Scrapbook.com

Friday, September 15, 2023

I hope you were able to catch SBC Fest Day 1 today either live or the replay! Did you know that there is a FREE die that you can get with your orders during SBC Fest? It's the Cozy Wreath and goes so well with other items from the Cozy collection! I brought out my Cozy A2 Paper Pad and my Rub-Ons to make this shaker card. I also was crafting this card while watching Craft Roulette today and it ended up working out so well together.

First, I started with cutting out my wreath out of white cardstock and did my best to get it as centered as possible on my A2 panel. I then glued the negative pieces to a sheet of orange polka dotted paper from the Cozy A2 paper pad. I just the sophisticated regal colors in this paper pad - it's one of my favorite collections from Scrapbook.com! Then I die cut the wreath out of a colorful patterned paper and a tone on tone green plaid patterned paper.

Next I distressed the edges of my background with some Frayed Burlap and then brought out some orange rhinestones to make a shaker window in the center of my wreath opening. I added an acetate circle behind the white wreath cut out as well as some foam tape and enclosed the rhinestones to be a shaker! Next I glued down the green cardstock wreath and finally the blue patterned wreath.

Using some of my favorite elements from the Cozy Rub-Ons, I added my Sweater Weather sentiment (that made me think of an old cubical neighbor that was cold all of the time, hehe) as well as flowers, hearts and other details around the card and even a pumpkin on the acetate window. Finally, I added a few Pops of Color to bring in some more shine.

Make sure to use the SBCFEST3 code when you check out this weekend and make sure to add this Cozy Wreath freebie to your cart!
