Today is the latest release from Trinity Stamps and their newest products are just perfect for the winter. When I saw the Ice Friends stamp set, I knew that would be the first stamp set I would use. Abi is learning how to ice skate so she can transition into hockey! So I made this card that I'll definitely be keeping for her birthday. I started with stamping and coloring my images (my camera stopped recording half way through so I just cut it out, but I can share these colors in a future video), then using their coordinating dies to cut them out.

Next I made my background using the emboss resist technique with the Pine Forest Background stamp and used Pine Needles Distress Oxide as the ink. I did watercolor some of the tree trunks to make them look a little more brown. I also added some snowflakes with the Snowflakes Checkered Background Add-On Stencil with some stencil paste. I assembled my card together as well as adding some Snowflake Embellishments for some added shine!
