Stitched Pineapple Card with Spellbinders

Friday, May 3, 2024

Earlier this week, I was on YouTube live with some of my crafty friends creating with the Spellbinders May Clubs! In case you missed it, I have it linked down below. During the live, I stitched the details of my pineapple and assembled my card together. I did do some prep before starting the live, so let's go over the different elements of my card.

I prepped my background which is a white piece of cardstock that I used with the Embossing Folder of the Month and splattered it with some black ink. I also stamped my sentiment and embossed it in white using the Clear Stamp of the Month and used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. The Stitching Die of the Month has different parts to make the pineapple so I cut them out in different colored cardstock.

Each of the die cut pieces have a bit of inking on them to add some dimension and I used a yellow floss to add my stitched details on the pineapple. When I assembled the card tighter, I popped up my elements to the background (which is adhered to an A2 card base) with foam and I added just a few black Pops of Color. I hope you like it and check out the projects my friends made in the video!
