Spooky Sweet Donut Shaped Card with Trinity Stamps

Sunday, September 21, 2025

I’m back today with a spooky sweet project I created for Trinity Stamps—a Halloween donut shaped card! I started with a circle card base cut from Madero Beach cardstock and layered on all the fun details from the Donut Card die set and the Halloween Add-On. The frosting is extra special on this one because I used yupo paper with alcohol inks, alloy, and black foil to give it an eerie, glossy look. To bring the design together, I added spiderweb frosting, green sprinkles, and a bold “boo” sentiment in matching green.

To finish it off, I stamped a little spider, heat embossed it with black sparkle embossing powder so it looks like a shiny piece of candy, and tucked it onto the card front. A few periwinkle sparkle gems scattered around gave the perfect pop of shine. You can catch my short video below to see how all the layers came together—it’s such a fun way to make Halloween feel playful and just a little spooky.
