I had so much fun creating this festive card featuring the new Simon Hurley and Ranger Ink products, combining last week's release with new ink pads released today! I started by cutting a piece of gold cardstock to A2 and attaching it to my card base. Next, I stamped the Tartan Plaid cling background stamp in Cookie Dough Stellar Ink onto a piece of Stark White Cardstock cut to 4" x 5¼". For the focal panel, I cut another piece of Stark White Cardstock to 3¼" x 4½" and stenciled the Spiral Stars Layering Stencils using Ivy League and Love Bomb Stellar Inks. Before removing the second stencil, I added a layer of Phoenix Feather Astro Paste to give it an extra festive sparkle and texture; the shimmer is so good!

While everything was drying, I foiled the nutcrackers and sentiment from the Nutcracker Trio Press and Die Set using Champagne Glimmer Hot Foil, then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I popped up the stenciled panel in the center of the card with 2mm foam adhesive and layered the nutcrackers and sentiment on top with a thinner 1mm foam for some dimension and depth. The combination of the rich inks, metallic foil, and glowing texture paste really brings this holiday card to life—it’s classic, merry, and just a little bit magical!
