Shining Bright Handmade Hanukkah Card with Cardstock Warehouse

Hanukkah is such a beautiful celebration of light, so I wanted to create a card that really sparkles and shines! I started by die cutting the GeoSquares decorative plate from Scrapbook.com out of New Blue Colorplan cardstock from Cardstock Warehouse and layered it over an A2 panel of Azure Blue. The tone-on-tone look adds so much depth and texture. Next, I die cut the “Happy Hanukkah” sentiment and shadow from Azure Blue and New Blue, gluing them together for a soft layered look. I used Gold Precious Metals Mirror cardstock for the menorah, cutting out all the detailed pieces and layering them for shine. The candles and melting wax were die cut from Madero Beach Speckle Tone, and I added Sorbet Yellow flames for that perfect warm glow.

Once everything was assembled, I added the menorah to the bottom of my card front and adhered the sentiment with foam adhesive for dimension. A few splatters of gold watercolor gave it a festive shimmer, and I finished it off with champagne glitter Pops of Color across the sentiment to create a subtle ombré sparkle effect. I love how this card came together — simple layers, bold blues, and a little shine to celebrate the season of light.
