Today I am sharing a sweet and colorful birthday card I made with some of my favorite products from Scrapbook.com. I started by die cutting a sheet of balloon patterned paper from the Hooray A2 paper pad using the largest Nested Swiss Rectangles die. I also die cut all the pieces for the gumball machine from the Bright Celebrations die set. I cut the main machine pieces from the red watercolor paper in the Watercolor A2 Paper Pack and used the gold paper from the Holographic Mirror Paper Pack for the accents. For the gumballs, I stamped the circle from the Bright Celebration stamp set in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink onto white card stock, then colored them in with my OLO markers. I even used an alcohol friendly fineliner to draw in a few extra gumballs to fill it up a bit more.

Once all the pieces were ready, I assembled the gumball machine and popped it up onto the die cut balloon panel with 1mm foam adhesive. I glued that panel to the center of a top folding A2 card base. For the sentiment, I die cut a banner from white card stock and stamped “happy birthday” from the Bright Celebration stamp set in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I glued the banner to the front of the card to finish everything off. This one came together so quickly and I love the bright, happy look of all those rainbow gumballs.
