Today I am sharing a soft and elegant set of floral cards using Emergency Card Kit 99 from Sassy’s LLC. I started by die cutting several floral pieces from the patterned papers using the trapezoid dies from the Emergency Card Essentials Die Set. I also cut larger background pieces that feature those delicate florals in the corners. For my focal points, I used circle dies to cut out sentiment florals, then began pairing everything together while loosely following the layout inspiration from Card Kit 26. To break up some of the tone on tone areas, I brought in a chevron pattern from the collection and added it as a thin strip between layers for a little contrast and movement.

As I built my layers, I added slate cardstock mats behind the sentiments to help them stand out against the softer backgrounds. I adhered everything onto an A2 slate panel, then mounted that to a top folding white card base. I popped up the circle sentiment and front sentiment strip using thin foam adhesive for dimension. On the inside, I die cut a scalloped rectangle and added a coordinating sentiment panel, centering it neatly for a finished look. I repeated this process to create four total cards, each with slightly different sentiment combinations. To finish everything off, I added a few enamel dots in soft coordinating colors across each card front for a touch of shine and balance.
