For today’s card, I created the sweetest little peach pie shaped card using Trinity Stamps dies and stamps, and honestly this project made me crave dessert the entire time I was crafting. I started by die cutting all of the peach slices from the Oh My Pie Circle Card Add-On die set using peach colored cardstock along with the solid pie filling circle. To give the peaches more dimension, I blended Abandoned Coral Distress Ink around the edges with one of my Trinity blending tools and then used an Ohuhu alcohol marker to darken the outer edges of each peach slice even more. Once all the ink blending was finished, I splattered metallic yellow watercolor over the peach pieces and pie filling to add a warm sugary shine. For the crust pieces, I die cut them from Madero Beach cardstock and distressed everything with Antique Linen, Tea Dye, and Vintage Photo Distress Inks before adding extra splatter and deeper shadows with a brown alcohol marker so the lattice crust would feel more realistic and dimensional.

To assemble the card, I die cut the circle shaped card front from a teal cardstock to create my pie plate and layered the pie crust onto two extra die cuts to make it thicker and sturdier. I glued the peach filling circle onto the pie plate first, then used the lattice crust die cut as a placement guide while attaching all the peach slices underneath so they peeked through the openings naturally. Once the peaches were arranged, I completely filled the inside of the pie with Glossy Accents to create that gooey pie filling shine and immediately layered the lattice crust on top while it was still wet so it would adhere without extra glue.
I attached the finished pie plate to a full circle shaped card base and then stamped sentiments from the Hap-pie Day stamp set in Nocturne VersaFine Clair ink. I added “Hap-pie Birthday” to the front and “Pie Love You” to the inside for a fun little punny touch. Before the Glossy Accents fully dried, I sprinkled on Rock Candy Distress Glitter so the filling would sparkle like sugar on top of a fresh baked pie. This card is sweet, shiny, and packed with texture, and I had so much fun creating all the tiny pie details!
