Sprinkled with Love Banana Split Card with Scrapbook.com

Monday, September 7, 2026

For this card I die cut all the pieces from the Banana Split die set from Scrapbook.com, using solid cardstocks from the Sugar Rush A2 Patterned Cardstock Pad for most of the elements, the sprinkles patterned paper from that same pad for the bowl, and the lightest yellow from the Yellows A2 Smooth Cardstock Pad for the bananas. The stems were die cut from blue cardstock and colored green with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink and a blending brush, the chocolate was cut from brown cardstock, the shadow from vellum cardstock, and the whipped cream from white cardstock, then I layered everything together to build the full banana split scene on top of the vellum shadow piece.

I transferred a frame rub on from the Sugar Rush Rub On Transfers onto white cardstock and cut around it, then stamped "Hope Your Birthday Is" at the very top of the frame interior and "With Love" at the very bottom using Pinecone VersaFine Clair ink so the sentiment would wrap around the focal image. I glued a pretty floral sheet from the Sugar Rush A2 paper pad to a top folding card base, glued the stamped frame on top, then used thin foam adhesive to pop the banana split up between the two sentiments in the center of the card. To finish everything off I stamped "Sprinkled" from the Sugar Rush Clear Stamp Set in a soft baby pink VersaFine Clair ink, cut it out with the coordinating die, and glued it right on top of the bowl so the full sentiment reads "Hope Your Birthday Is Sprinkled With Love!"
