Love You Gnome Much with Scrapbook.com

I am pretty sure I'm fighting off a cold as I'm typing this, but wanted to make sure I get a project done for Craft Roulette this week. It's going to be a busier week at work and I wanted to get it done to make sure I got it done in time! The project this week is a "card on a card" and I remembered that the new Love Gnomes stamp set from Scrapbook.com has a gnome holding card. I thought it was perfect and went through more Scrapbook.com Exclusives to create a card!

I started with die cutting a Lawn Fawn mini slimline background out of the Cools Slimline Paper Pad and stenciling Picket Fence Distress Ink and a little bit of Cloud Whip to create an ombre look of heart clouds. I used my heat tool to dry the Cloud Whip as the heat causes it to bubble a little to look more like puffy clouds! I die cut another mini slimline from my Floral Slimline Paper Pad and used a grass border die to ground my images.

Next I stamped my gnome images and balloons as well as the wooden stump from Spring Animals to be my "table" which is another parameter this week. I colored all of my images with tones of blue as the color parameter is Sky View and that made me think of looking out of my window and seeing the sky and tops of trees! I added white gel highlights in lines and dots (another parameter) and then popped up my images with foam adhesive.

Finally, I added a sentiment with black ink (and said a little prayer that I didn't mess up the card) and some Pops of Color. I used Teal Twinkle to add just three little dots and Snowflake to fill in some of the partial Cloud Whip stenciled hearts to have them look more filled in. How do you think I did with the parameters this week - did I achieve all four?
