1 Background Stamp, 3 Christmas Cards with Trinity Stamps

Monday, October 16, 2023

I'm sharing my recent video and projects I did with Trinity Stamps today. I am using the same background stamp for three cards but the each have different looks! I love how you can use a background stamp to do an emboss resist technique, use it on sold cardstock and even patterned paper. I'm sharing how they same design can look so different with each of these types of backgrounds.

With these backgrounds I made three cards - two of them are interactive! My first card has the background design embossed in gold on a red patterned paper. I added some foiled trees and a Pear Blossom Press Halo Light to create a light up card. I just love how the new Modern Embossed Panel #3 works PERFECTLY with the Halo Light and it will make light up cards even easier when you have a panel that does the hard work for you.

My second background is embossed in white on a glossy, blue cardstock. The darker background really makes the design pop in white! I used another Modern Embossed Panel (#1) to create a shaker card. Again, these dies just make interactive cards a breeze! I added foiled snowflakes in silver and made my own shaker mix with different confetti from Trinity Stamps.

The last card I kept it simple with some pastel colors to create an emboss resist background with silver embossing powder. I foiled the snowflakes in white on black cardstock to create a contrast with the softer background. All cards have die cut sentiments and I just love how they all turned out! Which card is your favorite? I'd love to know in the comments and make sure to watch my video on YouTube!
