A Set of Coffee Themed Cards - SheetLoad Rewind

Monday, August 25, 2025

Hi friends! Thanks so much for joining me in my craft room for another SheetLoad Rewind. This month, we’re revisiting the August 2022 sketch, and I had a lot of fun digging into my stash to bring it to life. I pulled out some older patterned papers from Stampin’ Up!, paired them with sentiments from Sassy’s LLC, and added in dies from Sizzix. I love that these rewinds not only give us a chance to reimagine older sketches, but also encourage us to use supplies we may have been holding onto for a while.

For my cards, I followed the sketch to cut down my patterned paper and cardstock, you can see the link to original sketch for dimensions in my video description on YouTube. To add texture, I ran my Kraft cardstock panel cardstock through the Tim Holtz 3D Woodgrain Texture Fade embossing folder, then lightly inked the raised areas with Tea Dye Distress Ink for extra depth. The main focal point of my cards is the Café Colorize Thinlits dies, which I cut and layered to create both to-go coffee cups and latte mugs. I kept my colors simple but added a bit of ink blending to bring out shadows and dimension in the pieces.

Once the cups were assembled, I layered everything onto my card panels, finishing with printed sentiment strips that I popped up with foam adhesive. I made 11 cards exactly to the sketch, and for my 12th card, I adapted the design slightly to work for a Craft Roulette project. To tie everything together, I added mint gloss Pops of Color for a little shine and balance. I had so much fun with these, and I love how the warm tones of the patterned paper pair with the cozy coffee cup dies. Be sure to check out my process video below to see one of the cards come together from start to finish!
