I made a festive shaker card using products from Scrapbook.com and had so much fun with all the little details. I started by trimming a panel from the Cottage Pattern Paper Pad to 4 x 5.25" and glued it to a top folding A2 card base. I trimmed a second patterned panel to three and a quarter by four and a half, then cut a green panel from the same pad to an eighth of an inch smaller. I used a circle die to cut through both layers at once and glued the two panels together so the openings lined up. I added a piece of acetate behind the circle and then used 3mm foam adhesive strips to build the shaker well around the opening and across the back of the panel. I sprinkled Sunshine Shimmer Flakes onto the card base where the window would sit and pressed the panel in place to trap the flakes inside.

For the decoration, I die cut the wreath, star and circle pieces from Bright Holidays using Retreat cardstock. I blended Slippery When Wet Stellar Ink around the edges of the wreath to add depth, then stamped the little star image in Loch Ness Stellar Ink and used the coordinating die to cut them out. I arranged the die cut pieces around the wreath, added a bow and glued the whole piece around the circle opening to frame the shaker. For the sentiment, I stamped "so grateful for you" from the Thanks Friend stamp set in Loch Ness onto light teal cardstock, cut two layers and glued them together before adding it to the bottom of the shaker panel. I finished the card with Dusty Rose Pops of Color around the design and a touch of Snowflake Glitter Pops of Color on the bow for a little sparkle.
