Today I am sharing the set of cards I created using the November 2021 SheetLoad of Cards sketch from Call Me Crafty Al and the adorable digital images from Sassy’s LLC. I printed the penguins and sentiments from Emergency Card Kit 48, resized them to fit the sketch, and prepped everything so I had extras just in case. I trimmed the penguin panels to the two by three inch size required by the sketch and used a coordinating rectangle die for the sentiment strips. Instead of patterned paper for the background layer, I embossed Fog cardstock with a snowflake folder to create a soft winter texture.

Once everything was prepped, I followed the sketch to assemble the cards. I layered patterned pieces onto a dark blue strip, added my trimmed penguin panel, then layered the sentiment strip. I used an A2 card base and adhered the debossed snowflake background to the front, then added all the layers on top. I also created an inside sentiment panel using a scalloped rectangle and glued it inside the card. Each penguin looks so cute on the cool gray and blue palette and the full set of ten cards came together beautifully.
