You Make Life Lovely Oh So Inspired Card with Scrapbook.com

Sunday, September 20, 2026

For this month's Oh So Inspired collaboration hop coordinated by Call Me Crafty Al, our group was inspired by the gorgeous card from Sandy M. on Instagram, and what drew me in most was her neon bright center, the embossing, and that beautiful thick white border! I pulled out the Neon Ombre A2 Patterned Paper Pad from Scrapbook.com and immediately fell in love with the rainbow colorway at the end of the pack since it felt so close to Sandy's original card.

I then ran some white cardstock through my die cutting machine with the Tiny Hearts 3D embossing folder twice in slightly different positions to create a cool double embossed heart texture across the panel. I die cut the colored panel with ta Nested Wavy Rectangles die at a slight angle to capture as much of that gorgeous color as possible, then heat embossed the large Wildflowers floral image from Scrapbook.com onto the panel using holographic embossing powder from Ranger for a beautiful tone on tone shimmery finish.

For the layering I die cut a vellum rectangle from the Nested Stitched Rectangles die set to sit between the embossed colorful panel and the texted card base, which gave me that subtle separation I wanted without covering up the heart texture the way a white layer would have. I stamped the "You Make Life Lovely" sentiment from the Blooming Sentiments stamp set in Dahlia Purple VersaFine Clair ink, cut it out with the coordinating die, and tucked it into the lower right corner of the panel with 1mm foam adhesive strips before adhering everything centered onto a white card base so just a touch of white would show around the edges. I finished with a few Unicorn Tears Glitter Pops of Color tapped flat for that enamel dot look, and I love how all the shine and shimmer layers came together on this one!
