Crafting with Abi - Lawn Fawn Big Sentiment Cards

Monday, November 8, 2021

Abigail and I have been making cards every weekend for each Craft Roulette episode! We also try to tie in other challenges if we can and this week we created a card with big sentiments for the Lawn Fawn Lawnfanatics Challenge. I was able to combine both this week, but Abigail ended up making a Pokemon themed card for Craft Roulette and we posted it over on her Instagram page.

I loved the diagonal cut background and alternating the paper to create a card that looks a lot busier than the work it took to make it. Plus, it was nice to pick rainbow paper so I could use lots of colors to create my card - the parameters were actually quite nice this week! The card had to have a diagonal cut, colors inspired by patterned paper, have an element for kids and have a folded corner.

Abigail and I also made sure these two cards made the sentiment the star of the cards! I had the big "Happy Birthday" sentiment and Abigail made her own sentiment using alphabet dies to create "HO HO HO". Abigail did a great job coloring and I love how she created a peppermint candy cane background with the touch of green!

We had a good time crafting this weekend and it's been fun to think of ideas from challenges!
