I have been inspired by the mermaids I've seen on Instagram since it's "MerMay" and I thought I'd make a coloring guide inspired by a few fandom mermaids. This month I have live action Ariel, cartoon Ariel, King Triton and Melody! I love the iridescent fin and wanted to try and figure out a color combination using my Ohuhu Art Markers. The card I made featuring Ariel (and my attempt at coloring Flounder and Sebastian - even though it's a lobster so I hid most of his body) is also inspired by Marine Simon. She has two mermaid cards that I just love and combined them together to inspire my card. I used lots of mixed media cardstock with Distress Oxides to create my under water scene. I styled it to look like the two cards, but with my own touches.
