I had some fun making a fandom card today! I intended to film a short for my card, but I have been a bit behind (and stressed) with catching up now that Abi's cookie season is over... So while I knew I wanted to share a Kindred Stamps card today, I just created while listening to my crafty friends' YouTube videos to give myself a crafty break, so to speak.
To make my card, I started with all my die cutting! I die cut the mushroom house dies to make three houses - I have a list of the colors I used in my supply list below. I also added a little distressing with Distress Inks that I thought coordinated well with the paper. My supply seems like a lot, but just use what you have to make your houses!
I die cut my background out of patterned paper and green cardstock with the card basic rectangle die, again adding some Distress Ink to my grass for dimension. I put my card together popping up my pink house and grass in the front with 2mm foam adhesive, but I did use 1mm foam where the house over lapped with the house on the red because it overlaps with the teal mushroom house causing that area to already be a bit thicker.
Finally, I stamped and colored my fandom Villagers with OLO markers, using the coordinating dies to cut them out. I glued the girl and smart villager with liquid adhesive and the old guy in the middle was popped up with 1mm foam. My sentiment was stamped on a banner die cut with blue ink and I used 2mm foam strips to attach that to the card. It's a bit wider than A2, so I will have to make a custom envelope for this card, but I just love how it turned out.
Let me know if you were able to snag a Kindred Stamps kit below in the comments!
