For today’s Fandom Friday, I’m sharing a card (and video!) featuring the brand-new Pocket Witches stamp set from Kindred Stamps. I started by stamping and coloring all the images—the witches twice—so I could create two different cards with the same set of adorable witches. In the video below, you’ll see the process for my first card, which comes together with soft lavender tones, a star pocket container, and the sentiment “Pocket Size Spooks Heading Your Way.” It’s a simple layered design with just enough foam adhesive for dimension, and I finished it off with a few purple enamel dots for extra charm.

For my second card, I wanted to step things up with an interactive element. I used the same lavender cardstock for my background but cut out the star-shaped container and backed one of the windows with vellum that I colored with an alcohol marker to give the look of a glowing flame. On the back of the panel, I lined up a One Light from Pear Blossom Press so when you press on the card front, the vellum window lights up! To keep it playful but subtle, I hand-wrote “push” in brown on the grass at the bottom. This effect really brings the pocket toy inspiration to life while still keeping the card totally functional as a greeting card.

I popped up my three little witches on the front and added a fun birthday sentiment inside: “Wishing you a birthday full of tiny tricks and spellbinding treats.” I love how this stamp set can be used for simple layered cards or stepped-up interactive ones, and I can’t wait to see how everyone else uses it. Don’t forget to check out the video replay below to see the full process, and join me every Friday for more fandom-inspired crafting fun!
