I couldn’t resist making another cozy winter card using exclusive products from Scrapbook.com. This one turned out to be a snowy little shaker scene! I started with an A2 card base and rounded the top two corners before covering it with a floral pattern from the Snow Days A2 paper pad. I used the Arch Snow Globe die set to create my layered shaker element, cutting the base from a wood grain pattern and the arched frame from both the gray-and-white polka dot snow pattern and a minty blue sheet from the Snow Days and Meadow A2 paper pads. For the tree line, I used the coordinating die from the Arched Winter Scene set and cut it from a dark green paper in the same Snow Days pad. Then I stamped the Santa image in Black Widow Stellar Ink and the star in Brutus Monroe Clear Embossing Ink, heat embossing the star with Ranger Ink’s Gold Super Fine Embossing Powder before die cutting both images.

I glued the Santa, trees, and star onto the gray snow layer to build my little winter scene, then added a piece of acetate slightly larger than the arch to form the back design of my shaker pocket. I sprinkled in some Unicorn Shimmer Flakes for that magical snowfall look and sealed it all with an Arch Shaker Dome. Once it was secure, I glued the minty blue arch frame over the top to hide the adhesive and give it a clean finish. To complete the snow globe, I popped up the wood grain base with foam adhesive and added a pink tag (cut from the Snow Days paper pad) embossed with the “’Tis the Season” sentiment in gold. The end result is a dimensional, sparkly shaker card that feels like a tiny snow globe right in your hands... it’s festive, playful, and full of winter charm!
