A Magical Forest Moment with Kindred Stamps

Thursday, December 18, 2025

I started this card by die cutting a piece of forest pattern paper from the Magical Escape paper pack using the rectangle die from the Card Basics die set. From a leftover scrap of that same paper, I heat embossed the sentiment "you put the us in patronus" using Kindred Stamps Embossing Ink and ultra fine white embossing powder. Once the embossing was set, I fussy cut around the sentiment to give it an organic shape that would stand out against the background.

Next, I stamped the deer from the Majestic Creature stamp set. I first stamped it lightly with InkOn3 Blackout Ink, colored it with my OLO markers, and then stamped it again with Warm Breeze Versafine Clair Ink to give the image a soft blue tint. I fussy cut the deer out and attached the rectangle panel to the center of an A2 card base. I popped up both the sentiment and the deer with 1mm foam adhesive for dimension. To finish the card, I added Frozen Flurry glitter pops of color to the deer and scattered a few more around the panel, then tucked in a few sequins from one of the shaker mixes from the Kindred Advent Calendar for a little extra sparkle.
