Today I am sharing a mini slimline holiday card that features lots of layered die cutting and one of my favorite textured backgrounds. I started by die cutting the tree pieces from Forest Green and Racing Green Colorplan cardstock and cut the trunk from Kraft Speckletone cardstock. I colored the White Diamond Glitter star and ornaments with ink blending so the star glowed yellow and the ornaments picked up soft blue and pink shades. After layering all the tree pieces I added green gem watercolor splatter for sparkle, adhered the star and ornaments, and set everything aside to dry.

I created a mini slimline base that measures 3.5 by 6.5 inches and added an embossed Kraft Speckletone panel that I cut with a mini slimline stitched die. The lined circles embossing folder gave it great movement and texture. Once the panel was glued down I added my finished tree to the center and loved how the greens and glitter popped against the kraft background. It is such a clean and pretty design and a very festive card to put together.
