For today’s Fandom Friday, I created a mini slimline card using products from The Sassy Club inspired by a classic animated dinner scene. I started by stenciling a red and white checkered background using the Checkered Stencil and red ink onto white cardstock, shifting the stencil to extend the pattern so it would fit a mini slimline design. Once the ink was dry, I die cut the background using the mini slimline postage dies, keeping all of the pieces oriented the same way so the pattern stayed consistent across the card.

I stamped the images from the Lady stamp set with black ink, colored them with alcohol markers, and then restamped the images to darken the outlines before fussy cutting everything out. I added an embossed sentiment on a red banner die and splattered red watercolor across the background for extra texture. The images and sentiment were popped up with foam adhesive and arranged within the postage frames. To finish the card, I mounted the panel onto a red backing and adhered it to a mini slimline card base, then added clear glitter pops of color to the hearts and flame for a little sparkle.
