Party Animal Birthday SheetLoad of Cards with Rabbit Hole Designs

Monday, August 5, 2024

There is a fun new release from The Rabbit Hole Designs today! I was gifted the Balloon Animals stamp sets and I just LOVE the balloon dog and rabbit and wanted to use them on some birthday cards. I used the August 2024 SheetLoad of Cards sketch and I have a video of how I put the cards together. If you'd like to get the sketch yourself, head over to Call Me Crafty Al's YouTube Channel!

I mostly focus on coloring my images and how I add my sentiment but I wanted to share how fun these sets are. The patterned paper is from my stash, so it's retired, but I like to use paper I've been hoarding for SheetLoad cards. Make sure to check out the new release and let me know what your favorite balloon animal is from the two sets! They have coordinating dies as well if you like having dies for your stamp sets.

Van-Tastic Day Light Up Box Card with The Rabbit Hole Designs

Thursday, June 13, 2024

I'm so excited to share this fun box card I made for the collaboration Instagram Hop with Pear Blossom Press and The Rabbit Hole Designs. I started with stamping my images and I colored them in with Ohuhu Alcohol Markers. There is a coordinating die set, so I used them to cut out my trees and van. I die cut a box card using my Sassy Club Dies and stamped my sentiment on the front rectangle piece as well as "Push" onto my van.

I layered my card together with some clouds and a sun to be in the background as well as grass on one of my box card "shelf" pieces. I added a One Light to the back of the van so the One Light lights up the headlights of the van. I added a few Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots from The Rabbit Hole Designs around the box card and that finishes it off! Click on the graphic below to hop with us over on Instagram!

Otterly Adore You Light Up Card with Pear Blossom Press

Wednesday, June 5, 2024

I have a fun, interactive card to share with you today! I'm using a Halo Light from Pear Blossom Press to make a light up card. You can watch my process video of how this card came together down below, but I wanted to talk about some of my favorite parts about this card with you here on my blog. I love how easy the Halo Light is to use and that it really lights up a card without too much work!

The Halo Light also works perfectly with the Trinity Stamps Modern Embossed Window Panel #3 Die as it was designed with the Halo Light in mind! So if you're a big fan of the Halo Lights, I recommend you check out this die to make using them even easier with your projects. The stamps are from The Rabbit Hole Designs and I just love sea otters so much... I just had to get this set!

I hope this card brings a smile to your face today and let me know what you think about Halo Lights in the comments!

Namaste Yogi Sheep Card with The Rabbit Hole Designs

Wednesday, May 1, 2024

Having some fun with these adorable sheep from The Rabbit Hole Designs today! I made this card for last Friday's episode of Craft Roulette - I have been dying to make a cute card with these critters so I was excited they could work for my project. I started with stenciling my flowers on some white cardstock with Pinkfresh Studio inks. I ink blended additional flowers on a separate piece of paper and use the coordinating die to cut them out.

I die cut the flower scene out with a nested A2 die as well as the kraft cardstock with the largest die. I stamped my sentiment and ink blended on a little bit of green ink to give my flowers a ground. I adhered my two layers together and onto a card base with my tape runner. Then I popped up my flowers with 1mm foam adhesive and then my adorable sheep that I colored with alcohol markers with 2mm foam.

For some final touches, I added some sparkly embellishments to the centers of my flowers and that a finishes off the card! I hope this brought a smile to your face and check out The Rabbit Hole Designs latest release, too.

Halloween Inspiration with The Rabbit Hole Designs

Thursday, November 30, 2023

It's the last day of the month - can you believe it?! November is ending and we're going to be full Christmas mode. But the last day of the month means it's time for some Halloween inspiration! I am using two stamps from The Rabbit Hole Designs to create a "meowgical" scene. My video below shows you each of the steps of how I created my background, colored my images and assembled my card.

I used Distress Oxides for my background and used these colors to also inspire the colors for my card when I was coloring my images. These were my first stamps from The Rabbit Hole Designs - have you heard of them before? I've been using the anti-static tool for quite some time now (which is the BEST), but I'm happy to have these new stamps in my catalog of Halloween products!
