In Your Future Light Up Birthday Card with Miss Ink Stamps

Friday, August 15, 2025

Today’s card feels like it belongs in the corner of a magical castle—stone arches, glowing orbs, and books stacked high for a day of spell practice. I used products from the Miss Ink Stamps Magic Collection (Castle Arches Dies, Magic Triangles and Perspective Floor Stencils, and the Fortune Teller Stamps and Dies) along with an EZ Light from Pear Blossom Press to make the crystal ball and prophecy shine.

I layered ink-blended stenciling, puzzle-pieced arches, and interactive lighting to create a fortune teller’s classroom that’s full of charm (literally). Press the “Push” button, and the crystal ball and prophecy glows like it’s revealing your future—spoiler: it’s full of cake! Watch my video below to see how I brought this magical scene to life.

Disco Ball Party Light Up Card with Scrapbook.com

Monday, December 23, 2024

I’m so excited to be sharing a fun light-up card with you today to celebrate Pear Blossom Press now being available at Scrapbook.com! If you’ve been following along with me for a while, you know I’m a huge fan of their products—especially the World's Best Foam Tape and all of the different light sets. For this card, I’m using the original EZ Light. It’s so easy to work with—just slide the battery into the pack, press the button, and the LEDs light up. Seriously, creating a light-up card has never been this simple!

I prepped a lot of the pieces for my card before recording, like die cutting, stenciling, and prepping my background using the Wavy with Dots A2 Plate and the Starburst stencil set, all from the new Candy 6x8 paper pad. I also die cut a disco ball from the Disco Decorative Die Set, which I’ll be adding the LEDs to. To secure everything, I’m using Pear Blossom Press's foam tape to create a dimensional layer for my background and battery pack. Once the background is set, I attach the LEDs to the back of my disco ball, making sure the lights peek through the die-cut stars. A little clear tape holds everything in place, and the final touch is adding my sentiment, a celebration-themed "party" embossed with white powder. I love how this card turned out—it’s bright, fun, and the lights just take it to the next level! Thanks to Pear Blossom Press for making light-up cards so easy and so much fun!

Van-Tastic Day Light Up Box Card with The Rabbit Hole Designs

Thursday, June 13, 2024

I'm so excited to share this fun box card I made for the collaboration Instagram Hop with Pear Blossom Press and The Rabbit Hole Designs. I started with stamping my images and I colored them in with Ohuhu Alcohol Markers. There is a coordinating die set, so I used them to cut out my trees and van. I die cut a box card using my Sassy Club Dies and stamped my sentiment on the front rectangle piece as well as "Push" onto my van.

I layered my card together with some clouds and a sun to be in the background as well as grass on one of my box card "shelf" pieces. I added a One Light to the back of the van so the One Light lights up the headlights of the van. I added a few Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots from The Rabbit Hole Designs around the box card and that finishes it off! Click on the graphic below to hop with us over on Instagram!

Happy for You Twinkle Butterflies with Pear Blossom Press

Sunday, April 21, 2024

I'm happy to share with you today my latest project for Pear Blossom Press! I am using Twinkle Lights to light up my butterflies on a floral background. I started with foiling my background and using the coordinating stencils with Interference Inks to get a subtle, shimmery background. I then used my BetterPress to press my butterflies and sentiment.

The butterflies are watercolored with orange and I used the coordinating dies to cut them out along with my sentiments. You can follow along in my video below of how I assembled the Twinkle Lights on the inside of the card and added my Butterflies above the LEDs of the lights. I added a little star shaped die cut so the card receiver knows where to press!

Heart Glow Light Up Card with This Calls for Confetti

Monday, March 18, 2024

I'm glad to be back today sharing with you my second card I made using the Heart Glow Collection from This Calls for Confetti! I shared a quick and easy shaker card last time, and now I'm sharing a quick and easy light up card. Using a One Light from Pear Blossom Press, we make make this fun, heart shaped light bulb light up to match the patterned paper from the collection!

The rainbow hearts are still my favorite so we're bringing them back for this card, this time with a white background. I think it reflects the light best and I used vellum to help dissipate the light better. I hope you had fun with this collection with me and that you made some interactive cards with the Heart Glow Collection, too!

Groovy Light Up Lava Lamps with Pear Blossom Press & Avery Elle

Saturday, March 9, 2024

Groovy! I saw this stamp set and dies from Avery Elle and just needed them. Something about the lava lamps just drew me ini and I was excited to use them with some Pear Blossom Press lights. I decided to go with the new versions of the Twinkle Lights - which of course are incredibly hard to capture in images so you'll definitely need to watch today's video down below to see how fun they look!

I started with my ink blended background, die cut my sentiment, colored in my lava lamps and assembled my card with the Twinkle Light. I felt like my background was missing something so I decided to do some multi-stamping with the peace sign around the edges of the background and added a few glitter confetti from Trinity Stamps around the card. I hope you have fun with today's video as much as I had fun making the card!

May All Your Wishes Come True! with an Pear Blossom Press EZ Light

Monday, February 5, 2024

I love making projects for Pear Blossom Press as it allows me to combine different products from different companies to make one card! I have lots of fun different brands for this card and it's even more special since it lights up with a PBP EZ Light. You can follow along in my video below to see how I put the card together, but let's talk about the different products on the card. I have stamps from Simon Says Stamp, Stencil from Scrapbook.com, dies from PopsicleSticks and rhinestones from Trinity Stamps!

What's even more exciting is that I was able to complete this project with inspiration from last Friday's episode of Craft Roulette! It's a kid's card with my cartoon movie inspired princess, the colors are inspired from Abigail's new pink and opalescent snow goggles and there is a button to press to activate the EZ Light! I just love this card and I think I want to do another princess for my next PBP video...
