Here is Card 2 out of 100 that I'll be sharing using the new Whimsy Stamps Pumpkin Spice Pandas! Just kidding, I'm probably not really going to make 100, but expect a couple more. 😬

There are some really great new products with this latest release and I wanted to share a card mixing cutesy critters, the new die set AND the more realistic looking Leaf Frame and Die Set to give you some ideas on how you can mix these new products together.

Pumpkin Spice Shaker Card with Whimsy Stamps & Sparkle Blends!

It's a new Whimsy Stamps release and can we just talk about these Pumpkin Spice Pandas?!! These are my new favorite stamp set and I'll be making only PSL Pandas from here on out, cool? Cool. 😉 Plus this set goes perfectly with my Sparkle Blends PSL Season embellishments so I just knew I had to make a shaker card with them together. SO CUTE, am I right?

My Spell-cial Birthday Card with Lawn Fawn

Thirty-five. 35.

It's my birthday today and to celebrate, I'm crafting with my favorite person to craft with... Abigail! We had planned to do a video and I was going to do a giveaway... And it just didn't happen. My schedule is too busy with crafting deadlines plus I still have to work, parent, take my kiddo to her after school activites and try to take care of myself, haha! Maybe next year. 😉 But Abigail and I still wanted to have fun and celebrate so we grabbed some new Lawn Fawn goodies and did a couple different challenges - the latest Lawn Fawnatics Spectacular Skies and the Halloween Monochrome Challenges.

The one thing I wish was better about our cards was the Flippy Flappy interactive part. I'm not sure if it's beause of the paper we used - was our paper too thick that does the flipping? Did we not fold it enough? It could also be because we didn't center it and maybe the tension is off becaue it's not centered and too close to the foam tape? Not sure... But I definitely need to work with this more.

Have you mastered the Flippy Flappy? Any tips for me?

Overall, I love how our cards turned out and how TEAL they turned out. I'm ready to celebrate with my family this weekend and embrace getting older with my two favorite people!

Halloween Note Cards with Hocus Pocus Kittens from Whimsy Stamps

World Card Making Day with Whimsy Stamps

Abigail and I were back in the craft room this weekend to celebrate World Card Making Day! We were at a memorial service for my lovely Grandmother yesterday, so while we may be a day late, we still wanted to celebrate the day of one of our favorite activities to do together.

We used a Whimsy Stamps digital stamp (it was free this weekend!) and used parameters from the latest Craft Roulette to help us with creating our cards. We had to have something "cut out" so we used the EEK! word and shadow die to create our sentiment - I think they turned out really cool looking!

We also had to use orange + two colors and we chose purple and green, assuming black and white are neutral colors. Our cards had to have wide margins, so we trimmed our background to fit with white margins of the card base exposed. The best part is that we had to incorporate stars we used Lawn Fawn's new glow in the dark Stencil Paste to put awesome stars on our background!

Hugs & Cheeses Rat Attack Card with Whimsy Stamps

So, funny story.

My husband is the bravest person I know but the one thing he hates more than anything is rats. He does not get wigged out easily, but rats make him cringe like something else. So guess what our dog has been recently killing and bringing as gifts? RATS!

So when I got this Rat Attack stamp set, I laughed my butt off knowing that I was going to make him a card with a rat on it just because he finds them so disturbing. So I made this cheesey card just for him and you can watch how it all comes together down below.
