I was so excited to get my Perfect Catch Kit from Kindred Stamps, but it came just in time for my vacation... So of course the first project I made when I got back in the craft room was my project for Craft Roulette with the limited edition kit! Since I needed to include bird(s), I stamped this little yellow psychic and colored them in with alcohol markers. Using the coordinating die, I cut it out as well as an extra on a plain piece of cardstock so I could sandwich them around a tiny paperclip with thin foam adhesive.
My background a piece of patterned paper from the kit and I cut it down to A2 and put it on a card base. Next I die cut my video game with different colors of cardstock and stamped my sentiment towards the left in blue ink just like the actual handheld device's printed on name. My character needed to be by the pond so I made my own masking to create a small scene that would be glued to the card base and my video game device will be popped up with foam adhesive to create a window as the screen.
The little critter is attached to the bottom edge of the window opening and I added some final touches of red and white clay circles from the kit with liquid adhesive around the card. To make them look a little shiny, I topped them all with Clear Gloss Pops of Colors. I just loved how this card turned out and the kit is just so perfect! I was trying to meet the requirements of Craft Roulette with this project, but I cannot wait to make more and with other video game stamps.
