I started this card by creating the potion bottle shaker. I used the large circle from the Card Basics die set to cut two circles from a pattern paper in the Kindred Spirits paper pack, then cutting out the center of one with the smaller circle die, and I also cut one of the tickets from the same pack to act as the bottle top. I cut a matching acetate circle with the same die and layered everything together with 3 millimeter foam adhesive. Before sealing it up, I added the shaker mix from Day 5 of the Magical Kindred Stamps Advent Calendar. I freehand cut a cork from kraft cardstock, darkened the edges with Weeping Willow Stellar Ink, glued it to the back of the bottle top, and set it aside so I could work on the background.

For the background panel, I die cut pashmina gray cardstock with the Card Basics rectangle. I stamped one of the potion bottles from the Day 6 “Potions” stamp set in Morning Mist VersaFine Clair Ink, rotating the stamp to create a random pattern. I added purple ink around the edges with 100% Juice Stellar Ink and a blending brush, then splattered on the purple from the Gem Colors watercolor set. Once that dried, I added a layer of bleedproof white paint and blotted with a cloth to remove excess moisture. Along the bottom, I stenciled the Pixie Dust stencil with black opaque texture paste for extra magic. I stamped the sentiment "You don’t need a love potion" in Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink on the upper right side, then glued the panel to a top folding A2 card base. I finished the card by attaching the potion bottle shaker, tilting it slightly so the cork points to the upper left and the sentiment stays visible.
