High Fidelity Inspired Record Card

Friday, March 6, 2026

Thanks for joining me in my craft room today for a quick Fandom Friday project. I actually started this card earlier during our March 2026 Crafty Besties livestream and decided to finish it up afterward. I wanted to lean into one of my husband’s favorite movies and create a High Fidelity inspired card that I can give him later this year for a birthday or anniversary. I used the Drop the Needle die and stencil set from the Hero Arts Handmade Holiday workshop kit and built a large vinyl record as the focal point. During the livestream I completed most of the die cutting, stenciling, and ink blending, and in today’s video I walk through the final assembly and finishing touches.

To finish the card, I created a custom sentiment on Canva that matched the orange tone from the movie poster and printed it at home. I die cut the sentiment circle using a Trinity Stamps Emergency Card Essentials circle die to help it fit perfectly inside the record center. I layered the pieces of the record together and added a tiny gray circle for the spindle detail. The record sits on an A2 kraft cardstock panel that compliments the black record with a stenciled shimmer and subtle iridescent shine around the edges using a pigment ink cube. I glued the sentiment label slightly at an angle so it feels like the record is spinning, then added the label die cut and trimmed the excess where it overlapped the edge of the card. Once everything was assembled, I adhered the panel to an A2 card base and the design was finished. It’s a simple card, but the music theme and subtle shine make it feel really special.

Hoppy Spring Bunny Card with Pretty Pink Posh

Tuesday, March 3, 2026

Today is another throwback card I made for Pretty Pink Posh using the Layered Bunny Faces with a white pigment ink for Stencil (A) with the bunny shapes, Black Soot Distress Oxide for Stencil (B) with the bunny face details, and Rosy Cheeks Lunar Paste for Stencil (C) with the bunny ears and nose! I used kraft cardstock as I thought it would be so fun to have the bunnies in white.

When the stenciled bunnies were dry, I trimmed the panel to 4-1/4x5-1/2” (A2 size). I cut Bunny Face Shaker dies from white, black and pink cardstock to create a matching bunny face to the stenciled panel. I also cut the second largest Eyelet Circle out of pink cardstock, the carrots from Big Easter Cupcake in green and orange cardstock, and finally my Sentiment Strips out of white cardstock. I used “Hoppy Spring” from the Sentiment Strips: Easter stamp set!

Lucky Layers with the March 2026 SheetLoad

Monday, March 2, 2026

Hi friends! Today I am sharing my take on the March 2026 SheetLoad of Cards along with my brand new Lucky Charms digital paper collection designed by my daughter, Abi, for my YouTube Members. This month’s patterns include Lucky Charms, Leprechaun Plaid, and Good Luck Charms, and I printed them full size so I could really show them off. I followed the SheetLoad sketch to cut my panels and strips, using Leprechaun Plaid for the accent strips and alternating between the two charm patterns for the backgrounds. I die cut arches from Trinity Stamps and trimmed them to match the sketch measurements, then added a thin scalloped border along the bottom to hide where I shortened the die cut and to add a sweet little detail.

To give the green cardstock strips a special touch without using glitter paper, I brushed clear shimmer only along the edges that would peek out from behind the patterned strips. It gives the illusion that the whole strip is sparkly while keeping things simple. I also blended a soft gold sheen around the edges of the background using interference ink for a subtle glow. Once the strips were adhered, I popped the arch up with low profile foam adhesive and let it overlap slightly for dimension. I love that tiny bit of lift against the layered background.

For the focal point, I die cut clovers from the Little Charms die set and stamped the word lucky from the My Lucky Charm stamp set using a yellow pigment ink. When it stamped lighter than I expected, I sprinkled on super fine gold embossing powder and heat set it for a rich metallic finish. I layered the lucky die cut twice for thickness, angled it across the arch, and tucked clovers around the letters with a bit of curled dimension. A few enamel dots finished the design, and I mounted each panel onto an A2 card base. Rivals, Romance, and Rink Vibes with Kindred Stamps

Friday, February 27, 2026

Today I am sharing three cards I created using the brand new Hockey Boyfriend stamp set from Kindred Stamps. This set is full of witty sentiments and hockey romance vibes, and I had so much fun turning it into a set of three cards. I stamped all of my images with InkOn3 Blackout Ink, colored them with OLO markers, and fussy cut them out before building each design. My first card has a full process video embedded below, so be sure to watch that for all the blending details. I created a bold background inspired by dramatic rink lighting using Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch, Lumberjack Plaid, Festive Berries, and Wilted Violet Distress Oxides. I masked off the ice section, splattered metallic watercolor, and popped up the couple and the sentiment for dimension. The inside finishes with a cheeky hockey themed rhyme.

For my second card, I went a little softer and cleaner with a powder green panel die cut using the Card Basics die set. I stamped a repeating background sentiment in Bali Blue Versafine Clair ink, varying the pressure for a slightly distressed look. I layered two white circle frames over the panel, trimming them flush with the edges, then popped up the two separate hockey players. I added red and yellow enamel dots for a nod to team colors and finished the front with a strip sentiment popped up on foam adhesive. Inside, I stamped another playful phrase to keep the tone light and romantic.

The third card shifts into an off ice moment with the characters in their everyday clothes. I die cut a circle from kraft cardstock and stamped the sentiment “I’m a loon-atic for you” directly onto it. That circle is popped up over a slate cardstock panel cut with the same Card Basics rectangle die for consistency across the set. I created the phrase “gimme kiss” using white die cut letters backed with adhesive sheets so they functioned like stickers. Placing “gimme” above and “kiss” below the circle balanced the design and added a bold graphic feel.

All three cards came together quickly once the images were colored, and I love how each one has a different mood while still feeling cohesive as a set. From bold rink drama to playful banter to sweet off ice moments, this stamp set makes it easy to tell a story. Be sure to check out the embedded video for the first card and let me know which one is your favorite.

Boo! Diamonds and Pumpkins for Halloween with Scrapbook.com

Wednesday, February 25, 2026

Today I am sharing a card for the SheetLoad Rewind hop that also fits perfectly into my monthly Halloween series on YouTube. I started with Scrapbook.com exclusives, using the Stitched Diagonal Diamond Block die and pattern papers from the Ancestry 12x12 paper pad. I die cut the diamond frame from the patterned paper, adhered it to an A2 card base, and then pieced some of the stitched diamonds back in to create contrast with lighter tones in the center. That patchwork effect gives the background so much texture before I even add a focal point.

For the focal element, I die cut a stitched circle from vellum and layered pumpkins and leaves from the Cottage Decorative die set, all cut from coordinating pattern papers. I added dimension and warmth by distressing the edges with Weeping Willow Stellar Ink and lightly dabbing Gold Rush Lunar Paste along the edges with my finger. I die cut the word “boo” from patterned paper using the Bold Letters dies, popped it up with thin foam adhesive, and stamped “hey there, pumpkin” from the Pumpkin Spice stamp set, die cut it, and adhered it onto the center of the O. A few Chocolate Kiss Pops of Color finished the card and balanced the darker browns across the top. Be sure to watch the embedded video to see this one come together step by step and hop along with the rest of the SheetLoad Rewind inspiration.

Lucky Shamrock Shaker Card with Pretty Pink Posh

Monday, February 23, 2026

Today's throwback card from my time with Pretty Pink Posh is for St. Patrick's Day! I used the Layered Shamrock Stencils on light grey cardstock and started with the (A) stencil and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide. Then I inked the (B) stencil with Ripe Mango Cloud 9 Interference Ink. I added a little bit of gold watercolor splatter to really make the background shine.

When it was dry, I used the largest Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die to cut it out and layered it onto a green cardstock with foam adhesive that was adhered to an A2 card base. I made a shaker with the new Shamrock Shaker Dies, St. Patrick’s Day Mix, and Lucky Day Shaker Beads. After assembling the shaker onto the card, I also added a Hot Foil - Lucky sentiment with gold foil onto yellow cardstock and cut it with the Lucky Shadow Dies.

Pastel Rainbow Magic Shaker Card with The Sassy Club

Friday, February 20, 2026

Today I am sharing my card for the Oh So Inspired Collaboration Hop, and this month we were inspired by a beautiful pastel rainbow shaker card created by Tina from @cardsandcoffeetime. Since the hop landed on a Friday, I had to add my Fandom Friday twist using products from The Sassy Club. I stamped and colored my two sweet mice from the Happy Mouse and Sassy Mouse stamp sets, die cut them with their coordinating dies, and set them aside. For the background, I created a soft pastel rainbow blend using Spun Sugar, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina, and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxides. I overlapped the colors to create smooth transitions, then trimmed the panel to A2 size for the shaker backer.

To build the shaker, I die cut the stitched mouse frame from white cardstock and adhered acetate to the back using double sided adhesive. I added foam adhesive around the edges, then filled the center with Unicorn Shimmer Flakes, Rock Candy glitter, and clear seed beads before sealing it with my rainbow panel. I die cut the word “magic” using the Park Alpha Lowercase dies, layered the letters for dimension, and adhered each letter over small rainbow panels so the color continued across the sentiment. Finally, I added up my two mice with adhesive and attached the finished shaker panel to a top folding A2 card base. Be sure to watch the full hop and see how everyone else was inspired this month!
