For The Record Any Occassion Cards with SheetLoad of Cards for July 2025

Wednesday, July 2, 2025

Hi friends, I’m so excited to share my first card as part of the SheetLoad of Cards Creative Team! I’ve been a huge fan of Alicia’s sketches for years, and now I’m thrilled to create alongside the talented team. For the July 2025 SheetLoad, I dug into my stash and found some retired patterned paper from Stampin’ Up!’s Delicate Desert collection and paired it with the Right on Track stamp set from My Favorite Things and the For the Record stamp set from Concord & 9th. Shopping your stash is such a great way to stretch your supplies, and I love how I was able to create a cohesive, music-inspired card that feels both modern and playful.

Instead of using two patterned papers, I made my own by stamping a layered record image in warm gray and mint inks to match my color palette. I followed the July SheetLoad sketch for all the cutting and layout details and used foam adhesive to pop up my focal panel for some extra dimension. I stamped and colored the cutest cat with headphones using alcohol markers and created a soft seafoam green record player to match my custom background. I finished off the card with white gel pen highlights and a few fun details to bring my cat and record player to life. I love how this card turned out, and thanks to the SheetLoad template, I now have a whole stack of similar cards ready to go! You can find all the download details and the Creative Team playlist in my video description box—come craft along with us!

Wild Journey Fandom Box Card with Kindred Stamps

Friday, July 26, 2024

I'm so happy with how this fun, box card turned out! I'm using stamps and dies from Kindred Release and as you probably can guess, I just love these fandom characters. I stamped and colored my images as well as put together my safari vehicle just for fun, so I don't have a video today. But I'll still walk you through my process so you can replicate something similar if you'd like!

First I started with stamping all of my images with a brown, alcohol marker friendly ink pad in my MISTI. I left my stamps in place while I colored the images with olo markers, then put the images back into my MISTI to stamp them with a darker brown ink. I used my Scan N Cut to cut out the images and got to die cutting the safari vehicle.

I followed the image from one of Justin's cards to put together my car; I did use some Distress Ink to darken and dirty up the vehicle. You can't have a safari vehicle without some dirt! I then did all my die cutting with the retired MFT Outside the Box Level Up Dies. I wanted to give them a grassy area to stand, so I used the add-on dies and made my sky blue with some Distress Ink as well.

Finally, I assembled the box card together and add in my tree to the very back of the box card, the safari vehicle with my mouse couple to the further back grassy shelf, my silly critter and female duck to the middle grassy shelf, and finally the male duck to the front grassy shelf of the box card. I did add some patterned paper to the sides and front of the box card and added an embossed sentiment.

I hope this card brings a smile to your face! I have to figure out what size envelope this card is going to fit into, or I just might have to make a custom envelope due to its unique size. I just wanted to make sure everything would fit on the card!

Unbelievable Day Rainbow Card with My Favorite Things for Oh So Inspired Collaboration Hop

Saturday, July 20, 2024

Can we talk about how CUTE this card turned out?! This rainbow card is my project for this month's Oh So Inspired Collaboration Hop hosted by Call Me Crafty Al on YouTube today! We are all inspired by Mindy Eggen Designs - for me it was her rainbow card and I thought it would be so fun to make a cloudy background and color in these adorable dragons from My Favorite Things with colors inspired by her card.

In my video today, I share how I inked my background, added the splatter, a quick overview of the coloring of these cute dragons, and assembling the card. I hope you'll watch and then head over to YouTube to get the playlist to watch all of the Collaboration Team Members to see their inspiration with Mindy's cards this month!
