You'll Join Us Someday Halloween Card for Twiddler's Nook Spooktacular!

Thursday, October 31, 2024

Today is the trifecta! It's Halloween (the best holiday), last day of the month (Halloween inspiration) and it's the big finish of the Twiddler's Nook Spooktacular! So of course I'll be highlighting using Twiddler's Nooks products in my video (brushes, magnetic tray) and I used the Happy Jacks Clay Embellishments. These embellishments were just begging to be used with my Rock Facts stamp set from Popsiclesticks.

If you're like, what the heck is going on in this card? You have to watch my YouTube video as I'll give you some insights to this older, cartoon mini-series that Davina from Popsiclesticks told me about and Abi and I became instantly obsessed. I used the stamp set for my images and sentiment, embellishments from Twiddler's Nook, scenery dies from Lawn Fawn and Kindred Stamps, and the swirly frame is from The Sassy Club.

Happy Haunting Shaker Card with Twiddler's Nook and Spellbinders

Saturday, August 31, 2024

It's the last day of the month which means it's Halloween time! It's also the 31st, so we're using Twiddler's Nook products. There is a hop over on Instagram with some of my other crafty friends where we're using Twiddler's Nook on a Halloween cards and I'm so excited to see what everyone else creates. I actually remembered to make sure my camera battery was all set so I have a video tutorial to make this card down below.

I used different embellishments to make my own shaker blend mix and the sentiment and dies are from Spellbinders. This little pup dressed as a ghost with his treat bucket is just the sweetest! My background paper is from Scrapbook.com and I distressed it just a bit with black ink and splatter. The sentiment is a BetterPress Plate, but I used it to hot foil my sentiment instead.

Let me know what you think of my Halloween card and tell me if you hop along with us on Instagram, too!

Christmas Halloween Shaker Card with Lawn Fawn and Twiddler's Nook

Wednesday, July 31, 2024

So, funny story... I got my supplies together, hit record on my camera but forgot to plug it in so my camera died and I don't have a video for my Halloween card for the last day of the month! But, at least it's still a Twiddler's Nook Hop day, so make sure to head over my Instagram post so you can hop along. I started with stamping and coloring all of my images and used my Scan N Cut to cut them out. I used my olo markers after stamping in an alcohol marker friendly ink.

Next I die cut my black tree background and yellow moon, as well as trimmed down an A2 panel out of purple cardstock. I added some Distress Oxide inks to my background and moon, but it's kind of hard to see between the trees. I glued the moon to my purple background and trimmed it where it went past the edge. I added acetate behind the trees and created a shaker panel with different embellishments from Twiddler's Nook!

Finally, I adhered my scene together by gluing the different pieces around my card to create my Christmas Halloween shaker card! I hope this card brings a smile to your face today and make sure you hop with us over on Instagram for a chance to win a gift card.

Dearer to Me Mini Slimline Shaker Card for Twiddler's Nook

Friday, May 31, 2024

Happy last day of the month! It's hard to believe May is coming to an end, but at least we get to talk about Halloween. I totally missed some Halloween inspiration last month... It was just a wild month and I had just way too much on my plate. These videos are mostly just for me and sharing my love of Halloween, so unfortunately it can get pushed off the plate if need be (like my Christmas videos the month before that).

But today is the next Twiddler's Nook Spooktacular Hop so there was no way I was going to miss Halloween this month! I'm using my Twiddler's Nooks products for today's card - I have my blending tools and trays, but the shaker embellishments are from Amanda's shop and they are so fun and perfect for this monster mash Halloween card!

You can follow along how I made my card in today's video, but I'm using fun products from a few of my favorite people! I used Social Paper Plan for the patterned paper, PopsicleSticks for my dies and The Sassy Club for the stamps. This iconic couple is perfect for a Halloween card (well, really any time card) and the sentiment is just so beautiful and perfect!

I hope you'll check out my process video down below and make sure to hop with us over on Instagram! If you want to check out Twiddler's Nook, you can find a link to her Etsy shop in my supplies down below. I am not an affiliate for any of the major companies I feature today, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to share with you my favorite companies!

It's the last day of the month and it's time for Halloween inspiration! This month has a 31st and I'm excited to share my first project as a part of the Twiddler's Nook Spooktacular hops! I'm using two different embellishments from Twiddler's Nook - Gone Batty and Perfect Pineapple Confetti Stars. But in my video you can also see how I'm using some of the amazing tools you can find in her shop!

My video shows how I made my ink blended background, shaker panel frame, shaker panel assembly, coloring my cute critters, my sentiment and overall card assembly. I just love these cute trick-or-treaters and the sunset with my own mix of the two embellishments. Which critter is your favorite? I think mine is the hedgehog mummy!
